Welcome to the new [LW] Lakes War Community website

After many changes within our community, we are now stable. Members have come and gone, servers have also come and gone. After all these changes we still hold on to some loyal members. Without these few we would have been finished long ago. Lakes war began with a single Call of Duty United Offensive server named Lakes War Foy No Tanks. This was, for a long time one of the most popular servers on UO. Sadly the UO population has dwindled as more and more gamers join the new evolution in pc gaming. For us who where there in the beginning, Foy and UO will always have a special place in our hearts.

So now, moving on we have just the one game server and a TS3 server, its our intention to build on these. Our Battlefield 3 server has, in a way taken the place of our old Foy. Lakes War FireStorm/Caspian - 2000 TKTS is a 44 man server with Firestorm and Caspian Border running 24/7. After running at 64 players for a while we realised that the experience was a little chaotic, spawn killing being the norm, so we changed to 44 players. This creates a more tactical, realistic and ultimately enjoyable gaming experience.

In some strange way we have gone full circle and ended up where we began, just a little older and wiser, with just a few loyal members and one of the best game servers. With luck and your help we hope to again be one of the largest pc gaming communities. If you feel you would like to be part of this new beginning then we would love to here from you.
